Coach Lazur has been involved in youth basketball for over 20+ years. Starting his career at the middle school level for Veterans Memorial Middle School in Brick, NJ as head coach for 10 years, winning 8 division titles, before moving onto the Varsity Head Coach position at Ocean Township High School. As head coach at Ocean Township for 10 years, his recent teams have won back to back division and holiday tournament titles, as well as multiple appearances in the state sectional finals and been ranked in the NJ top 20. Coach Lazur believes strongly in teaching the tenets of offensive fundamentals, man to man defense, and the improvement curve as being more important than wins-losses, especially at the younger levels.
